Joseph G. “Joe” Mobley joined The Fiorentino Group as Principal in 2008 and provides consulting and advocacy services to numerous clients on a wide range of issues. Joe previously served as Assistant Vice President of Legislative Affairs at Fidelity National Financial, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. While at Fidelity, Joe participated in the management of the company’s legislative and political agenda throughout the United States and Washington, DC. He also administered Fidelity’s federal PAC and numerous state PACs.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Joe was the top aide to former Florida House Member Mike Hogan, and then to State Representative and current Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll. In these roles, Joe worked to pass meaningful legislation in the areas of growth management, telecommunications and transportation.
Active in local, state and national politics, Joe has volunteered and raised funds for numerous successful campaigns at all levels. In 2007, he was appointed by the Governor to the Clay County Development Authority. In 2009, he was appointed by Clay County Commission Chairman Wendell Davis to the Charter Revision Commission, a group that meets every four years to review county government and is empowered to place items directly on the ballot for a public vote.
While Joe began his career, and is still actively involved, in the state legislative process, he has also developed solid relationships with local elected and appointed officials in Northeast Florida. He has successfully represented numerous clients on local government procurement and legislative matters.
Community involvement ranks high on Joe’s priority list. He is currently on the Nominating Committee at Murray Hill Baptist Church, serves on the Board of Directors of the Riverside Rotary Club of Jacksonville.
Joe holds a degree in Political Science from Florida State University. He and his wife Kristina, an attorney in Jacksonville, reside in Fleming Island, Florida.
